We are a turnkey contractor: civil shell, waterproofing, PVC piping and hydraulics, plant room layout, electricals, instrumentation, finishing, water balancing and handover. Nothing gets subcontracted to whoever is free that week.

Piping and instrument installation is where most pools are quietly ruined. Undersized suction lines cavitate the pump, wrong return angles leave dead zones, and an unmeasured system can never be diagnosed. We size, test and document every line before it disappears under the deck.

Sauna & steam room construction
A pool deck earns its keep when there is somewhere warm to go afterwards. We build dry saunas, wet steam rooms and combination spa corners — as part of a new pool project, or retrofitted into an existing basement, terrace or bathroom.
The cabin is the easy part. What decides whether a sauna lasts is the layer you never see: the vapour barrier, the insulation depth, the drainage fall and the electrical isolation. We build all four to spec before a single cladding plank goes up.
Scope of work
Dry sauna cabins — Nordic spruce, Canadian hemlock or western red cedar cladding over insulated stud framing, with foil vapour barrier
Steam rooms — fully tanked and tiled enclosures, sloped ceiling to stop condensate drip, sealed glass door and frame
Heaters & generators — sauna heaters and steam generators sized to cabin volume, with digital and app-based controls
Benching & interiors — thermally-treated bench timber, backrests, duckboard flooring, hidden LED and fibre-optic lighting
Ventilation — inlet and outlet placement calculated for correct air turnover, so the room heats evenly and dries out between uses
Wet-deck integration — cold plunge, rain shower and drainage detailing where the sauna opens onto the pool
Hill-station clients ask for sauna more than anyone else, and it is the one room where a shortcut shows up fast. An unsealed vapour barrier will rot a cedar wall from behind within two seasons — the cladding still looks perfect on the day it fails. We test the barrier before we clad.

Fountains & water features
From a single courtyard cascade to a choreographed musical fountain for a hotel forecourt or temple complex.
Design
Nozzle selection, spray height, wind allowance, basin sizing and splash control — modelled before it is built, so the feature works in April as well as January.
Build
Basin civil work, sump, pump chamber, stainless and brass nozzle assemblies, underwater RGB lighting, DMX controllers and music sync.
Maintain
Water top-up automation, scale control, nozzle cleaning schedules and annual overhaul — because a dry fountain looks worse than no fountain.

Annual maintenance
Scheduled filtration checks, backwashing, media replacement, chemical dosing, tile cleaning and equipment servicing. Monthly or quarterly visits.
Water chemistry
pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness and cyanuric acid testing with corrections. Hard-water belts across Punjab and Haryana need it more than most.

Anyone can dig a hole and line it with tile. The pools that still run silently five years later are the ones where the invisible work was done properly — the hydraulic balance of the return lines, the fall on the drainage, the waterproofing behind the finish, the pump sized to the actual water volume rather than to whatever was in the shop.
That is the part of pool construction we are built around. Our team handles the civil shell, the piping and instrumentation, the filtration plant and the commissioning as one continuous job, so there is nobody to blame when something does not line up. Types of swimming pools we construct
Every pool below has been built by our team in the Tricity or the hills. The right choice depends on your plot, your budget and how the pool will actually get used.
Skimmer pools
The most common residential choice. The waterline sits a little below the coping and skimmers draw surface debris off the top. Lower cost, simpler plant room, no balancing tank — the sensible default for most family pools.
Overflow & infinity-edge pools
Water fills to the brim and spills into a perimeter channel, then a balancing tank. Visually far better, and the only way to get the vanishing-edge look over a valley. Needs more civil work and a larger plant room.
Rooftop & terrace pools
Popular on Zirakpur and Mohali plots where ground space is gone. Structural load has to be checked before anything else, and waterproofing is unforgiving. We have built these on occupied buildings.
Indoor & semi-indoor pools
The standard request in Kasauli, Solan and Shimla, where the season is short. Needs heating, dehumidification and ventilation designed together, or you get condensation running down the walls.
Plunge & splash pools
Small, deep and cost-efficient — ideal for a courtyard, a farmhouse corner or a rooftop where a full lap pool will not fit. Often paired with a spa jet bench or an adjoining sauna.
Commercial & hotel pools
Resorts, banquet venues, clubs and apartment complexes. Faster turnover rates, higher bather loads, statutory depth marking and handrails, and equipment specified for continuous duty.

The honest answer is that nobody can quote your pool from a web page. But you should not have to make the first call blind either, so here are the ranges the market actually works to in 2026.

Rates are per square foot of water surface and are indicative for 2026 in the Chandigarh region. They exclude deck and coping, landscaping, statutory approvals and GST. Rocky soil, a high water table or difficult site access will move the figure — which is exactly why we survey before we quote.
A word on suspiciously cheap quotes. If a quotation for an RCC pool comes in far under these ranges, something has been left out — usually the waterproofing specification, the steel grade, or a filtration system sized for a pool half the size. Ask any contractor, including us, to put the pump capacity, filter diameter, waterproofing system and tile brand in writing. A quote that will not name its equipment is not a quote.

A standard residential RCC pool runs roughly 8 to 14 weeks from excavation to handover. Hillside and indoor pools take longer, and monsoon slows earthwork — we build the weather into the programme rather than promising around it.

Hill-station projects are a large part of what we do. Building at altitude changes almost everything — access for machinery, structural loads on a sloping plot, frost, and the need for heating if the pool is to be usable outside three months of the year.

For an RCC pool, budget roughly ₹2,000 to ₹4,500 per square foot of water surface in 2026. A standard 30 × 15 ft family pool usually lands between ₹8 and ₹18 lakh depending on depth, finish and whether you want an overflow edge. Filtration is a further ₹1.5 to ₹5 lakh. Deck, coping, landscaping, approvals and GST sit outside those figures. We survey the site before quoting, because soil condition and access change the number more than most people expect.
A standard residential RCC pool takes about 8 to 14 weeks from excavation to handover. Overflow pools take longer because of the balancing tank and channel. Indoor and hillside pools in Himachal can run longer again, and heavy monsoon stops earthwork. We put the programme in writing and tell you where the weather risk sits rather than quoting a best case.
Skimmer pools cost less, need a smaller plant room and no balancing tank, and are the sensible default for most family pools. Overflow pools look considerably better, keep the surface cleaner at high bather loads, and are the only route to a true infinity edge. If the pool is a design feature of the house, or it overlooks a view, overflow is worth the extra. If it is for the children to swim in, skimmer is the better use of the budget.
Yes, and we have — it is a common request on Zirakpur and Mohali plots where ground space is gone. The first step is never the pool, it is a structural check of whether the slab and columns can carry the load, which needs your building’s drawings or a structural engineer’s assessment. Waterproofing on a rooftop pool is also far less forgiving than on a ground pool, because a leak lands in the rooms below.
Usually yes for anything beyond a small above-ground pool, and the requirement varies between Chandigarh Administration, GMADA, the Zirakpur Nagar Council and the Himachal authorities. Commercial and hotel pools carry additional obligations. We will tell you what your site needs, but statutory approvals are ultimately the owner’s responsibility and we do not present ourselves as a consultant on them.
For a typical residential pool, expect electricity for the pump running six to eight hours a day, chemicals for dosing, and periodic filter media replacement. Heating is what changes the picture — a heat pump for year-round or hill use is the single largest running cost. Covering the pool when it is not in use cuts heat loss and evaporation substantially, and is the cheapest saving available.

How this works, honestly: your drawing is read on your own device — it is not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Answers before you call.
A standard residential pool of roughly 25 x 12 ft takes 45 to 75 days from excavation to first swim, assuming the site is accessible and approvals are in place. Overflow pools, infinity edges and rooftop installations run longer because of the balancing tank and structural coordination. Monsoon and hill-station winters add time — we plan the schedule around them rather than pretending they do not exist.
The three costs are electricity for the filtration pump, chemicals, and top-up water. A well-sized residential system running 6 to 8 hours a day typically costs a few thousand rupees a month in electricity. Oversized pumps are the single biggest waste, which is why we size the pump to the turnover rate rather than to the largest one on the shelf. Adding a heat pump increases winter running cost but is far cheaper than an electric heater for the same output.
Backwash the sand filter weekly during use. Replace filter sand every 3 to 5 years. Softener resin lasts several years but the salt tank needs refilling on a cycle set by your water hardness. Heat pumps need a coil clean and refrigerant check annually. We offer AMC packages that cover all of it on a fixed schedule so nothing gets forgotten until it fails.
We work across Zirakpur, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, all of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Site visits inside the Tricity are free. For outstation sites we recover travel cost, which is adjusted against the order value if you go ahead with us.
Yes. Heat pumps, sand filters, softeners, steam generators, alkaline water machines and pressure pumps can be bought as standalone supply, with or without our installation. Existing pools built by other contractors are welcome — we will survey the plant room and tell you honestly whether a retrofit is worth it.
Yes. ZeroB and Havells products are supplied with full manufacturer warranty and the original invoice in your name. Warranty is handled through the brand’s service network, and we coordinate the claim on your behalf.

1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Himsuta Pools website and any enquiry, quotation, supply or construction contract that begins on it. By using the site you accept them. “We”, “us” and “Himsuta Pools” mean the business operating from Office No. 42, 3rd Floor, Uptown Insignia, PR7 Road, Zirakpur, Punjab 140603, India.
2. Information on this site
Product descriptions, specifications, images and prices are provided in good faith and may change without notice. Manufacturer specifications are reproduced from brand literature and are the manufacturer’s responsibility. Prices shown are indicative and do not constitute an offer. A binding price exists only in a written quotation signed by us.
3. Orders and quotations
Adding an item to the cart creates an enquiry, not an order.
An order is confirmed only after we issue a written quotation or proforma invoice and you accept it in writing, with the agreed advance received.
Quotations are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise.
All prices are exclusive of GST unless expressly stated as inclusive.
4. Delivery and installation
Delivery timelines are estimates in good faith and depend on manufacturer stock and site readiness. Installation requires the client to provide access, water supply, three-phase or single-phase power as specified, and a safe working area. Delays caused by site conditions, weather, statutory approvals or force majeure do not attract penalty.
5. Payment
Payment terms are set in the quotation. Construction contracts are milestone-billed. Equipment supply is typically against advance or on delivery. Goods remain our property until paid for in full. Overdue amounts may attract interest at the rate stated in the quotation.
6. Warranty
Manufacturer warranty applies to all branded equipment as per the brand’s published terms, and is claimed through the brand’s service network with our assistance. Our workmanship warranty on civil and plumbing works is stated in your contract. Warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorised modification, chemical imbalance caused by third-party servicing, damage from power fluctuation without protection, or normal wear of consumables such as filter media, resin, salt and gaskets.
7. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for statutory approvals for construction, for safe supervision of the pool once handed over, and for following the operating and chemical-handling instructions given at handover. Swimming pools carry inherent risk; we are not liable for injury arising from use, supervision failures or non-compliance with safety instructions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under any contract is limited to the amount paid to us under that contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption or loss of use.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, layout, drawings and photographs of our projects, belongs to Himsuta Pools. Brand names, logos and product literature belong to their respective owners and are used to describe the products we supply.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mohali / Chandigarh have exclusive jurisdiction.

1. Scope
This policy covers equipment supplied by Himsuta Pools and services including construction, renovation and maintenance contracts.
2. Equipment: cancellation before dispatch
Cancel within 24 hours of order confirmation and before dispatch: full refund of the amount paid.
Cancel after 24 hours but before dispatch: refund less a 5% handling and processing charge.
Once the item is dispatched or installation is scheduled and materials are committed, cancellation is not accepted.
3. Equipment: damaged, defective or wrong item
Inspect goods at delivery. Report damage, shortage or a wrong item within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and the invoice number. Verified cases are resolved by free replacement, or a full refund if replacement is not possible. We do not accept returns of installed, used or physically damaged equipment, or of consumables such as filter media, resin, salt and chemicals once opened.
4. Manufacturer warranty claims
A fault appearing after installation is handled as a warranty claim through the manufacturer’s authorised service network, not as a refund. We coordinate the claim on your behalf.
5. Services and construction contracts
Advance paid for design and drawings is non-refundable once the design work has started.
If work is cancelled after mobilisation, the client pays for work completed, materials procured and demobilisation cost. Any balance is refunded.
Annual maintenance contracts cancelled mid-term are refunded on a pro-rata basis for unused months, less a 10% administrative charge.
6. Refund timeline and method
Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days to the original payment method or the bank account from which payment was made. Bank processing time is outside our control. Payment gateway charges, where applicable, are not refundable.
7. How to raise a request

1. What we collect
Only what you give us: name, phone number, email address, site location and the details in your message. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
2. Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, deliver and install equipment, provide service support and meet tax and statutory record-keeping requirements.
3. Who we share it with
Only where necessary to fulfil your order: the equipment manufacturer or its authorised service partner for warranty registration, our logistics partner for delivery, and government authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your data.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not convert are retained for up to 24 months. Customer records are retained as long as statutory tax and warranty obligations require.
5. Your rights
